Motionless In White, Pennsylvania's sensational metalcore artists are bringing their signature sounds to the State Theater!
Motionless In White was formed in Scranton (Pennsylvania) in 2005 by guitarist/vocalist Chris 'Motionless' Cerulli, drummer Angelo Parente, guitarist Frank Polumbo, and bassist Kyle White. The band’s been through many line up changes over the years and it currently consists of Chris (lead vocals), Ryan Sitkowski (lead guitar), Ricky 'Horror' Olson (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), Devin 'Ghost' Sola (bass guitar and backing vocals), and Vinny Mauro (drums). While their musical style can be broadly classified as metalcore (a broad fusion genre of extreme metal and hardcore punk, noted for its use of breakdowns, which are slow, intense passages that are conducive to moshing), it also includes elements of gothic metal (a fusion genre that combines the heaviness of heavy metal with the dark atmospheres of gothic rock) and industrial metal (a genre that draws from industrial dance music, thrash metal and hardcore punk, using repeating metal guitar riffs, sampling, synthesizer or sequencer lines, and distorted vocals). They’ve had a stellar career with 4 studio albums (3 of which were top 5 hits on Billboard's Top Hard Rock Albums chart), 23 singles, 12 music videos, and 2 extended plays. They've also toured with The Defiled, Glamour of the Kill, The Plot in You, Like Moths to Flames, and many other renowned bands.
